The newly constructed building, based on the general concept developed at the beginning of the 1970s, over time replaced the strict forms of functionalism with much more sophisticated trends of the last decade of the Soviet era. The object seems to be more free-form but still being in the frame the of post-modernist structure.
The object consists of several composite volumes: a broken-shaped five-story teaching laboratory building and auditorium buildings.
Today, the Faculty of Design and Technology of the Kaunas University of Technology is located here.
